Reminders, Reminders ...

We are still waiting for a few boarding agreements to be returned to us.  Please get those to the office as soon as possible.  Also, it's that time of year to bring your sheets and blankets back to the barn.  Also, please remove your fans and store them off-site.  

 Dallas Harvest Show

Stephanie and Paolo left for Las Colinas today for the Dallas Harvest Show at Irving,  Texas. Stephanie will be showing CR Advocate and CR Nirvana while Paolo is riding CR Cartier and CR Fantasia. Paolo and CR Fantasia are entered in the Grand Prix on Sunday.

Monday, November 2, is the Deadline ...

Stephanie must have your entries no later than Monday, November 2 if you plan to attend the upcoming Houston A Shows at the Great Southwest Equestrian Center.  You are encouraged to sign up on line by visiting our Sign Up page to register.  There is also a printable Entry Form on the site.   We urge you to use these features.

                      Dr. Thomas Wagner Update

Dr. Thomas Wagner is crossing the pond from Switzerland again will be visiting Clear Round in mid-January.  We will let you know specific dates when his schedule is firmed up.

Another Clinic Planned

Stephanie has been asked to return as the clinician to another event hosted by the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds.  Several Clear Round riders attended the August clinic and Stephanie encourages as many of you to attend as possible.  Clear Round will offer trailering to and from the same-day event and day stalls are available.   Stephanie will also match up the classes so that riders of similar levels will be grouped together.  The event is scheduled for Sunday, January 11, 2004.  The entry fee has not been set yet.

Improvements

Most of you have probably seen the new equipment at Clear Round.  Work to the hotwalker continues and we will keep you updated as to its progress.  We recently acquired a Horse Gym 2000 which is a treadmill with incline settings for the horses.  It will be up and running within two weeks.  If you are interested in these services, please let us know and we can discuss it with you one-on-one.

Congratulations to Katie Rhorer, Melissa Binstock and Emma Caplan

CR Concorde has been sold to Katie Rhorer who trains at Clear Round Show Jumpers.   Stephanie and Paolo both congratulate her and wish her the best of luck.

Melissa Binstock has been invited to compete in the Children's Jumper Finals set for Atlanta, Georgia.  Good going, Melissa!

Emma Caplan has been invited to ride in the Zone 7 Jr. A/O Jumper Finals! 

New Horses Update

Paolo has recently returned from Europe and we are expecting five new horses.  CR Flambeau is a 5-year old chestnut Zweibruecker gelding and CR Esmeralda is a 4-year old Zweibruecker mare sired by Elan d'Espoire.  The third horse, CR Escada, is a six-year-old grey Swiss Warmblood mare and the fourth horse is an six-year-old bay Swiss Warmblood gelding without a name quite yet!  Both Swiss horses are sired by the stallion Le Grand Lord.   The fifth horse, CR Anastasia, is a five-year-old German Warmblood bay mare by the fantastic stallion, Argentinus.
