Paolo, back, by popular demand !

When we announced recently that Paolo would not be teaching on a regular basis, many of you expressed a sincere desire to continue training with him.  As a result, Paolo will be teaching a monthly clinic open to all clients at Clear Round.  The first clinic is tentatively scheduled for the first Sunday in February.  Please contact Stephanie if you would like to sign up early.

 New Show Schedule

The new 2004 Show Schedule is now updated on our web site.  Our first show of the new year will be the B Show, this weekend, January 16 - 18 at GSWEC.  In February we will be doing two consecutive weeks in Mississippi followed by Spring Gathering and Pin Oak here in Houston.  Then we will return to Louisiana in April followed by Biltmore Estates in the Summer.  We will be likely adding to our schedule between late April and mid-July so stay tuned!

              Dr. Thomas Wagner Update

We now know when Dr. Thomas Wagner will be crossing the pond from Switzerland.  Thomas will be here January 20 and 21.  There is a place to register on the Show page and  we highly recommend to all of our clients that you have Dr. Wagner evaluate your horse.  He has made many positive improvements to many of our horses and those of our clients.

Foal Due

CR Enigma is in foal to Tony Font's Grand Prix stallion, Waola.  She is due the end of March and we will keep you updated.  We are very excited about this new addition to Clear Round. 

Improvements

Most of you have noticed that the new hotwalker is up and running.  We have received a lot of positive feedback about the hotwalker and all the horses are benefiting from the daily hotwalker program.

CR Day Date has been sold to Kathryn Brock who trains at Clear Round Show Jumpers.   Stephanie and Paolo both congratulate her and wish her the best of luck.

New Horses Update

Stephanie and Paolo have recently returned from Europe and  are expecting five new horses.  Lagato is a 6-year old grey Holsteiner who's grand sire is the great Landadel.   CR Dynamite is a 7-year old chestnut mare by the fantastic stallion, Argentinus who also sired CR Anastasia.  CR Matrix is a 6-year old bay gelding by Contender and Zeus and CR Fireball is a competitive eleven-year-old Grand Prix Holsteiner.   And last but not least, Dominique the proud new owner of CR Revenge, a ten year old Belgium Warmblood gelding.
