Stephanie Tropia – Location: Houston, TX
Stephanie, founder, owner and trainer of Clear Round Show Jumpers, has spent her life riding—beginning at the age of six in her native Germany. A natural competitor, Stephanie has shown to great success in Europe and the United States—with showjumping wins in the Grand Prix ring, Prix St. George wins in dressage and top Ribbons in hunter derbies. Combining her success in the show ring with her training credentials and contacts in Europe, she founded Clear Round Show Jumpers and began importing, selling and training top sport horses. Her work ethic, honesty and love of horses have produced many great horse and rider combinations that are competing successfully today.
Paolo Tropia – Location: Germany
Paolo, owner and trainer at Clear Round Show Jumpers, began his career at age 13 with Swiss International Grand Prix rider, Beat Roethlisberger. Over the years, Paolo has worked and trained with some of the world’s leading riders—including a position with Paul Schockemoehle’s horse trading business, which bred more than 300 horses annually and sold between 600 and 700 horses per year. Paolo has successfully competed at the Grand Prix level both nationally and internationally, and enjoys working with horses and riders in all levels of training.
Rene Rios – Location: Houston, TX
Rene, trainer at Clear Round Show Jumpers, has ridden and competed his entire life. He has amassed wins throughout his career - from the pony ring up through national Grand Prix. Growing up he trained with Olympian Colonel John Russell in San Antonio, and started his professional career working for the great Anne Kursinski. He then moved to California where he was a successful rider and trainer on the competitive West Coast circuit for 9 years. During that time, Rene earned many top honors as a rider in both the hunter and jumper arenas. He also produced winning horse and rider combinations - with his clients earning numerous year-end awards in their divisions, and several successfully competing in the pony and equitation finals. Rene believes in patience and gentle instruction, and develops both horses and riders through a combination of classical training and natural horsemanship.
Adrianne Gamboa – Location: Houston, TX
Adrianne, trainer and operations manager at Clear Round Show Jumpers, has ridden and competed in several disciplines throughout her riding career. She began riding at an early age in her hometown of Wichita Falls, Texas. She successfully competed in western divisions before making the switch to the hunter/ jumper circuit at the age of 12. Adrianne won many championship titles on her Quarter Horse in the AQHA Shows. As a young adult she started training with Stephanie and Paolo Tropia to further her knowledge and riding skills and now competes through the grand prix level and educates young warmbloods so they can reach their fullest potential. She has brought many students to win championships at the hunter/ jumper shows. Adrianne operated a boarding and training facility in Wichita Falls for 10 years - producing many successful, well matched horse and rider combinations. She is passionate about helping each rider achieve their personal goals.
