Stallion: Lancer II

CR Lucinda's, sire is the champion stallion, Lancer II, who is known for producing very talented offspring in both showjumping and dressage.

CR Lucinda's grandsire is the top breeding stallion, Landgraf, who produced more than 80 approved sons and more than 100 premium mares in Germany alone.  Landgraf progeny head the German Yearbook in total winnings.

Landgraf was known for his exceptional temperament which he passed on, along with excellent movement. His dam, the phenomenal mare Warthburg, came from stamm No. 275 and produced six foals by Ladykiller.  Landgraf was one of these.  Landgraf was born in 1966 and the following year, his full brother, Landgraf II was born.  Landgraf II was sold to an owner in the South of Germany where he was gelded! 

Landgraf was licensed in 1968 along with twelve other Ladykiller xx sons. 

Showjumping is the discipline that Landgraf passes on and the list of his successful offspring is practically endless.  Freestyle won the Aachen Grand Prix, Libero is the five-time Dutch National Champion and 1994 Volvo Cup titlist along with many others competing at the international level.

Nearly sixty colts by Landgraf I have been licensed for the Holsteiner stud book which includes Linaro and Loutano.  Thus far, 340 broodmares by Landgraf I are registered in the Holsteiner studbook and 260 of theme are in the Head Stud Boo, while 100 have been awarded State Premium status.  Landgraf reached legendary status during his lifetime and his genes a securing anchored in the modern Warmblood Sporthorse.
